Hello fellow ITers! Recently, you may have noticed a few posts being made by spam bots. These horrible little minions of despair have come to take all of your WOW gold, or maybe give everyone's little brother and sister espresso and a water balloon. While we can't prevent all spam bots from finding our fair city of Immer Treu, we can take certain measures to halt their invasion.

First, and most importantly all members who wish to view and post to the IT forums will need to be approved members of the Members group of Immer Treu. This is because while bots can be scripted to register and post, they often cannot figure out how to apply to a group. Everyone will need to register for this group to be able to continue to use the forums! I'm opening group registration early, so that most of you won't have to worry about an interruption in your forum-ing.

How do I join this group?

Go here: https://immer-treu-chat.forum-nation.com/g17-members and click the Join Group button. If you can't find it, just click the image below.

What happens if I don't join in time? Will I be locked out of Immer Treu?

Not at all! You can join this group at any time, and your registration will be approved in less than a day! The only difference is that you will not be able to post on our forums until you are an approved member. You will still be able to read announcements, look at our freebie emporium. However, your view will be limited until you are a full-fledged forum member :)

How long do I have until the takes effect?

This policy will take effect on Friday, July 15th 2011.
